An exhibition to advise Croydon residents who have a hearing loss
on the help that is available and to give general information to others
During the week invited guests on specialised subjects
are available to give personal advice as detailed below

Tuesday 4 May
Sensory Impairment Team
Staff from Croydon Council with information on the services available to assist those with a hearing impairment
Croydon Voluntary Association for the Blind
Richard James from CVAB to advise those with dual sensory loss
Wednesday 5 May
Hearing Centre Mayday NHS Trust
Staff from the Hearing Centre will be available to answer questions on the services they provide
The Langley Audiology Centre – Bevan Allen
With advice and information for those suffering with Tinnitus
Thursday 6 May
Hearing Concern/LINK – National Organisation
Details on the services available for adults living with acquired hearing loss
Friday 7 May
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
Come along and meet a dog that gives greater independence, confidence and security
Croydon Voluntary Association for the Blind (am only)

Stuart Coverman – Equipment Assessment Officer
Advice and information on a range of various equipment that is available
Saturday 8 May
Croydon Deaf Children’s Society
Volunteers from the Society offer information, advice and practical support to children and families
The services of Croydon Hearing Resource Centre, a local charity,
will be available ALL WEEK with a range of equipment
on display and various information leaflets
